Kids and Youth

Kids and youth are a big deal at St Luke's because kids and youth are a big deal to God.

Our Sunday morning gatherings start all together in church, for family worship and prayer. After the first section, we split into groups for age-specific activities. Parents and caregivers should check their kids and young people in when they arrive at church.

tiny tots

Aged 0 - Reception

Babies are welcome to stay in church with their parents/caregivers. When you feel ready, they're welcome to join our Tiny Tots group, most do this at around age 1.

Tiny Tots are escorted to Kentish Town Community Centre (17 Busby Place, London, NW5 2SP - 100 metres from St Luke's) for an hour of stories, songs, and play, run by our kids team, and overseen by Isaac Wheeler. You're welcome to stay for the first section to help them settle, if needed.

At the end of church (around 12 midday), parents/caregivers head to the community centre to pick up their kids from Tiny Tots.

little luke's

Year 1 - Year 5

Similarly to Tiny Tots, those in school years 1 to 5  are escorted to Kentish Town Community Centre (17 Busby Place, London, NW5 2SP - 100 metres from St Luke's) for an hour of craft, stories, prayer, and games, run by our kids team, and overseen by Isaac Wheeler.

At the end of church (around 12 midday), parents/caregivers head to the community centre to pick up their kids from Little Luke's.

younger youth

Year 6 upwards

Our Younger Youth meet at the back of church at the end of the first section of our morning gathering. They're escorted to our Meeting Room (7 Dowdney Close, London, NW5 2BP) for an hour of hanging out, discussion, and prayer, led by our youth team.

To save anyone having to pick-up from two locations, Younger Youth are escorted back to their parent/caregiver at church by 12 midday.

Safeguarding

We take the safety of all kids and youth seriously at St Luke's. All our team are DBS checked and well trained, and we adhere to a safeguarding policy, which you can access here.
